New Zealand Telecom CEO Theresa Gattung has injuries to her legs and feet after being hit by a car.
Gattung, who was taken to the emergency department of Wellington Hospital, was allowed to leave some hours later after treatment.
She suffered a swollen knee, deep cuts and bruising to her legs and feet after a car, which slowed for her to cross the road, was hit by another car.
Witness Gwen Nash, an employee in the pool complex where Gutting had been swimming, said the lifeguards cared for Gattung until the ambulance arrived.
New Zealand Web site, Stuff.co.nz reports Telecom spokesperson John Goulter said Gattung was resting at home.
