Dimension Data Foresight Seminars: “Sun Servers in My Windows Network?” “There’s a Revolution Underway in Laser Printers”

<p>Sydney, Australia – 9 August 2005 – Dimension Data begins the first in a series of fortnightly breakfast seminars for small to medium enterprises in Melbourne and Sydney on Wednesday, 24 August 2005. Dimension Data’s Foresight Seminars will be focussed on a specific technology or product, and provide attendees with in-depth information and advice, as well as free coffee and pastries.</p>
<p>The first Foresight Seminar, “Sun Servers in My Windows Network?”, will be held in Dimension Data’s offices in South Melbourne on Wednesday, 24 August 2005 and then in Sydney on Wednesday, 7 September. The session will provide a detailed overview of Sun Microsystems’ AMD Opteron-based servers, and examine how these high-performance servers can operate within a Windows environment, supporting a range of applications and operating systems, including Windows, Linux and Solaris.</p>
<p>In a session ideally suited to business and technical decision-makers in small to medium businesses, Dimension Data will discuss the business and technical benefits of Sun’s AMD Opteron powered systems. A Nokia 6020 GSM mobile phone valued at $300 will be given away as a prize during the session.</p>
<p>The second seminar, “There’s a Revolution Underway in Laser Printers” looks at the new Epson AcuLaser 2600N, which incorporates revolutionary end-user upgradeable technology to provide total flexibility in choosing between colour, monochrome and high volume monochrome printing configurations. In this session, attendees will discover how the 2600N and other innovative new products can be used in their business environment. This seminar will be held in Sydney on Wednesday, 24 August 2005 and Melbourne on Wednesday, 5 October 2005. An Epson PictureMate photo printer valued at $299 will be given away as a prize during the session.</p>
