Human resources management software maker Authoria said Monday it will acquire dot-com survivor Hire.com, aTexas developer of recruiting management software. Financial terms of the all-stock deal were not disclosed.
Hire.com's flagship product is HireEnterprise, a suite that helps employers with online recruiting, applicant tracking and staffing analytics. The 10-year-old company's customers include Adobe Systems, Prudential Financial, Royal Caribbean Cruises and National Australia Bank.
Authoria, in Massachusetts, plans to rename the software Authoria Hire Advisor and incorporate it into its broader human resources software portfolio. Adding sourcing and recruiting software will extend the functionality of Authoria's offerings, which include compensation, performance and employee communication management applications.
Authoria expects the acquisition to close this month. It plans to bundle Hire.com's technology with its own Authoria Manager Advisor, which pulls together information and planning tools to help human resources managers implement their organization's policies and oversee staff resources.
