EMC Dantz Retrospect To Support New Mac OS X Tiger Operating System

<p>SYDNEY, Australia. – May 3, 2005 – EMC Corporation, the world leader in information storage and management, today announced that the EMC Dantz Retrospect for Macintosh backup and recovery software will support the newly released Mac OS X Tiger operating systems. Today’s announcement illustrates EMC’s continued commitment to supporting the Apple Macintosh platform with Retrospect backup and recovery software.</p>
<p>On May 5, 2005, EMC will provide an update at no charge for Retrospect 6.0 for Macintosh that supports the Mac OS X Tiger operating system. The new version of Retrospect is required for all customers who move to the new Mac OS X Tiger operating system.</p>
<p>EMC will further enhance Retrospect by supporting two new file system-related features of Mac OS X Tiger: Extended Metadata and Access Control Lists. This future release of Retrospect will also be at no charge to all Retrospect 6.0 customers.</p>
