Vessus selects Hewlett-Packard, Check Point and Trend Micro for Primus Telecom managed service offering

<p>Melbourne, Australia, 26th April 2005 - Vessus Systems today announced that it has selected Hewlett-Packard, Check Point Software and Trend Micro as its technology platform to provide Primus Telecom customers with a suite of 24x7 managed IT security services.</p>
<p>HP ProLiant DL380 series servers provide the high performance and fault tolerance required in Vessus’ distributed Security Operations network infrastructure. Check Point Software and Trend Micro will supply Primus Telecom SME customers, enterprise-grade network-based IT security services.</p>
<p>Vessus’ IT security services include managed network firewalls; managed gateway anti-virus and anti-spam; and managed client firewalls. These services are sold through Primus Telecom’s suite of SecureDSL services. Prices start at $25 per month per Internet connection.</p>
