PBBA selected as finalist in AIIA iAwards

<p>SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA Personal Broadband Australia (PBBA) has been selected as a Finalist in the AIIA iAwards 2004 in the Innovation category for Telecommunications.</p>
<p>The 2004 iAwards recognise companies with an outstanding product or solution in the Information and Communications (ICT) industry.</p>
<p>Commenting on the company’s achievement, Jim Cooney, CEO, PBBA said, "We have always known that iBurst is world class technology and with the right infrastucture around it, could be developed into a commercial offering that was truly beneficial for businesses and individuals alike. Being nominated as an iAwards Finalist is both an honour and an affirmation by the industry of the quality and value of the service PBBA has developed.”</p>
<p>The iAwards are the Australian ICT industry’s national program honouring the year’s “best of the best” ICT business strategies in categories such as Innovation, Inspiration, Involvement, and International business. The iAwards are supported by media, government and the industry and are presented in conjunction with The Australian Financial Review, with The Honourable Darryl Williams, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts as its patron.</p>
<p>Winners will be announced at the iAwards Gala Presentation Ceremony on Wednesday, 5 May 2004.</p>
