SAP has announced two new executive appointments to its Small Medium Business Division. Alastair Watts, formerly new business sales manager for software and consulting firm Intentia, has been appointed mySAP All-In-One channel manager and Marisa Wray has been appointed SAP Business One channel manager.
Wray was previously responsible for sales of Microsoft Navision and Axapta at solutions and services provider Tectura.
Watts and Wray will work in conjunction with each other to support and grow SAP's SMB customer and channel partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.
Watts will be responsible for supporting, managing and mentoring SAP business partners to develop a network of resellers. SAP expects to use Wray's knowledge of technology and business process in the SMB market as insight into the solutions customers require to meet business objectives.
SAP SMB director Tim Cavill said SAP is delivering on its vision of becoming the market share leader in the SMB space. "Alastair and Marisa join a highly committed and focused SMB team, which grew by 148 percent in 2004," Cavill said.
SAP claims more than 60 percent of its new customers have been from the SMB space, mostly signing on within the last 12 months.
