I am writing to register my personal disappointment at the photograph chosen by the Pivotal Corporation (and printed by your magazine) in its advertisement on page 23 of Computerworld April 19, 2004. A sad choice I think. I can only trust they did something to help this man - in exchange for using his image.
PA to Rob Hunt,
Bendigo Bank Group
The point we wished to make was that business survival requires companies to adapt, in typically harsh environments, and this image, which was purchased from a reputable image bank, visually and powerfully expresses the sentiments of survival through adaptation. We apologize for any offence caused by this advertisement.
