WorldxChange plans GSM mobile and internet market attack

WorldxChange Communications yesterday revealed the company is planning to resell GSM mobile telecommunications services and launch a global Internet service.

According to a company spokesperson, Richard Vincent, WorldxChange's CEO, is planning to introduce the GSM service by September, aiming to capitalise on an expected flood of analog users switching to digital mobile networks.

Meanwhile, WorldxChange's international subsidiaries are planning to follow the Australian operation's lead with the Internet services, the spokesperson said.

While Vincent's industry negotiations are "still informal, once it happens it will happen very quickly", the spokesperson said.
