American Power Conversion (APC) has announced enhancements to its PowerNet family of enterprise power management software to simplify remote management of power protection and management solutions.
PowerNet is currently available with both single and three-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) integration with HP OpenView NNM and Tivoli NetView and enables network administrators to monitor and manage APC UPSs from a central event console via Web browser.
"APC's PowerNet Manager lets customers manage all their power protection in the same way they monitor the entire network," said Leanne Cunnold, general manager of APC Australia.
"The inclusion of management for the three-phase Silicon DP300E series of UPSs will further simplify this by allowing administrators to use one tool for all their network infrastructure equipment," Cunnold said.
The PowerNet Manager for HP OpenView NNM and Tivoli NetView is available immediately and is priced at $266 (ex tax).
