Global One yesterday announced the launch of its remote access service to Australian and New Zealand customers.
The service called Global Dial Access provides users with remote dial access to corporate intranets, extranets and LANs as well as the Internet.
Designed to support corporate networks, the service supports multiple protocols with up to 33.6Kbit/sec analog and 64Kbit/sec ISDN IP dial access to Global Frame Relay and Global IP networks.
Available in 58 countries, features of the service include global roaming capabilities, virtual private data networks and flexible pricing, officials said. Global One is the international joint venture between Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Sprint.
