Microsoft Australia has named a new managing director to replace Eugenio Beaufrand who is returning to Latin America.
Paul Haughton, currently district general manager with the company in Chicago, is to become managing director of Microsoft Australia and the South Pacific Region.
Beaufrand headed up local operations for two years. He will remain in Australia until later this year to ensure a smooth transition, officials said. He returns to Latin America as director of the Southern Cone countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay). Haughton officially takes on the new role in September.
