Prophecy sees a win in SA

The South Australian Government has awarded local software developer Prophecy International a $1.1 million contract to create its new Emergency Services Tax billing system.

The government will use the system to manage billing for its Emergency Services Levy, a charge applied to all homes to fund emergency services activities.

Implementation of the system, which revolves around the vendor's financials application, ProphecyOpen, is scheduled to start immediately, with the first bills to be processed under the system due to be issued by the end of September this year.
