Nortel delivers unified management solution

Nortel Network announced on Thursday it has released Optivity Service Level Management (SLM) 2.1, its next management tool.

According to officials, Optivity SLM 2.1 lets network managers graphically monitor performance levels on of the network on a per user, per application, basis.

This allows service level agreements to be monitored and reduces support costs through remote support applications.

Other features of the tool include integration with Optivity Network management System, remote access monitoring, and simplified network administration through Web and service filters and Optivity mail gateway.

Optivity SLM 2.1, including Optivity Service Level Help and Optivity Service Level Analysis are available in Australia now.
