ATUG's now2000 conference will be held from 4 April to 6 April. It will again be Australia's premier annual telecommunications event. The now2000 conference will be opened by Senator Richard Alston.
Keynote presentations will provide high profile speakers such as Mr David Murray, MD of the Commonwealth Bank and Lucent's Bell Laboratories Chief Technical Officer, Robert L. Martin.
There will also be a greater globalisation of the conference with speakers from the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand. Mr Horsley said, "We have enhanced our international participation through our relationship with the Deutsche Messe and also with TUANZ in New Zealand." Among these international speakers will be Ms Diana Sharpe - Chairman of the International Telecommunications Users Group who will provide a user perspective of global industry developments.
