Getronics wins ANZ deal

Following last week's win with Curtin University, Getronics has scored a 10-year contract with ANZ Bank to implement and support its retail banking platform.

Getronics won the deal over other providers including Unisys and IBM GSA.

ANZ has selected Getronics' GlobalFs retail banking platform for its retail banking operations, to be used in call centres, branches, business centres and by mobile managers, officials said.

The new platform will replace up to a dozen different platforms throughout ANZ and will include the introduction of a new sales and support platform.

According to officials, GlobalFs is retail banking platform specifically for financial services. Based on Microsoft's distributed internetworking architecture (DNA), it provides support for multiple channels and applications, integration with transaction systems and customisation to replicate business processes.

Additionally, it provides CRM capabilities including customer identification, relationship profiling and product information, according to officials.

Under the terms of the agreement, Getronics will also supply professional services and ongoing support services.
