Objectif Telecommunications has signed a five-year support and maintenance agreement with IBM Global Service Australia to support Cable & Wireless Optus.
The deal is expected to generate in the order of $1 million from support services alone in this financial year, officials said.
Under the deal, Objectif will provide support for CWO's network service activation, applications, and future systems. Additionally, the contract also includes the delivery of the latest version of Objectif's real-time proactive OMS order management and service provisioning system that managed CWO's Freephone and intelligent network services.
According to officials, CWO and Objectif have been working together since 1994.
