Nominate for Fellows awards

From streamlining driver licensing and registration processes to projects in the fields of law, health, the environment, and remote communities, IT professionals design systems that have a significant impact on daily business, medical and industrial processes.

Computerworld is mounting the Computerworld Fellows awards, together with sponsor Marconi, to recognise the contribution that IT professionals make in these spheres.

Nominations are now being called for the awards, which will be announced in March.

One such award went to Dr Cyril Brookes who was honoured for a lifetime of achievement in IT which included his work as corporate manager of data processing at BHP and head of the school of information sciences at the University of New South Wales.

The awards provide an opportunity to publicise the activities of outstanding individuals in the IT industry.
