E-business application provider BroadVision said today its Asia-Pacific region and Japan operations grew by 485 per cent in the year 2000.
Staff in the region expanded from 20 to 225 and the company's regional vice president Brett Ho said the region is likely to contribute at least 10 per cent of this year's worldwide revenue.
BroadVision already has offices in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan and Ho said the company's focus will be on Malaysia and Thailand.
"Our core focus in 2001 will be B2B applications, enterprise portals, wireless applications and services," he said.
A key component of the company's product strategy is the launch of BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise Version 6. The complete suite of e-business applications on V6.0 will be shipped throughout the year.
