Y2K: CEOs warned 'your cleaned code won't cut it!'

Year 2000 remediation is not working. Tests of cleared code from 19 MVS mainframe sites in Australia and NZ found problems in every single sample and in one case a batch of 100,000 lines of code contained 78 errors. Non-compliant code was the most serious error, followed by warnings and syntax errors.
