Although it has significant relationships with the major retailers, Dataflow also supplies to a large number of independents. According to Dataflow's executive chairman, Jeff Tobias, it is a "sales and marketing company with a distribution back end".
According to Tobias, this value-add extends to providing exceptional technical and customer service, developing and implementing successful market concepts, maintaining an extensive range of educational and edutainment products and in more recent years entertainment titles. "Perhaps most importantly, it's knowing and understanding the Australian multimedia market," he added.
At the heart of its distribution is a team of support specialists whose role is to ensure fast and accurate responses to time-critical issues and service inquiries. Technology also plays a major role. The warehouse is totally computer-controlled.
