Exploit code released over weekend for browser attack
Microsoft Monday night issued a security advisory that provides customers with guidance and workarounds for dealing with a zero-day exploit aimed at Internet Explorer.
The NKill database is updated daily and currently includes all .com, .org and .net domain names.
A security consultant is developing a search engine called NKill that aims to track the security vulnerabilities on every computer connected to the Internet, with the ability for users to search for vulnerable computers in a country or inside a specific company.
Partially disclosing vulnerabilities and building up hype before disclosing full details appears to be on the increase. Only problem is that it isn't doing anyone any good.
