Initial support for web apps
Appearing in the code base of Firefox 16, the browser now includes technology to support web apps that will eventually be available for download from the Mozilla Marketplace. This app store is currently available only to users of the Firefox for Android beta. Web apps for Firefox will be installed and launched as if they’re typical desktop applications.
