Malicious URLs stopped (Firefox for Android)
Another bug that the Mozilla developers quashed: one that can wipe data from an Android phone when using prior versions of Firefox to visit an URL address purposely written to do this nefarious feat. Implemented in Version 16, Firefox for Android can now recognize such malicious URLs and won’t allow them to be opened.
