Apple & AT&T Mobility Antitrust Litigation
In 2008, customers filed a class-action suit claiming Apple and AT&T had an illegal monopoly because they couldn’t use the device on other carriers’ networks after their two-year AT&T contracts expired. The case was granted class-action status in 2010 and remains pending in the appellate court.
