In pictures: Inside Optus' satellite facility

Computerworld Australia took a visit to Optus' satellite facility in Belrose.

Optus has the largest fleet of domestic satellites in Australia and New Zealand and provides services for television broadcasts - pay TV and free-to-air - radio, internet, voice and data services.

The telco currently has five satellites in orbit - the B3, C1, D1, D2 and D3.

Computerworld Australia took a look inside the company's facility at Belrose, the operations centre for Optus satellite services, including satellite control, satellite support, satellite network management, VSAT operations and earth station support.
