Springfield Lakes is a suburb of the Queensland city of Ipswich. Formed in 1843, the city was initially known for its coal and wool but has since become a growth point for residents moving out of Brisbane.

Springfield Lakes NBN Deployment

Springfield Lakes is one of 14 second release sites planned for the mainland. Announced on 8 July 2010 by NBN Co, construction is set to begin in the second quarter of 2011 for 3,000 premises.
