So to this week's topic... Windows XP Service Pack 3.
Microsoft has completed work on Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3), saying this week it has released it to computer makers and volume licensing customers.
The Windows XP SP3 "bits" will work their way through its manufacturing channels to be available to OEM and Enterprise customers first. Microsoft will follow this up by posting it for download on its Web site and through Windows Update on April 29.

Give me XP over Vista anyday, at least for the moment
I'll definitely be installing XP SP3. My PC is barely two years old yet doesnt have the hardware requirements to run Vista, and Im not planning on upgrading anytime soon given the less than spectacular response Vista has gotten, despite whatever Microsoft may claim.....
Good reason to avoid the infection of Vista
When XP SP3 is released, all PCs in my company will need to upgrade to this service Pack and this will definitely consume resources in my company and it will become a good reason to delay upgrade to Vista.

i'm gonna wait around for about a month or two until any major rollout issues are ironed out.
sp2 was a big headache for alot of people, although there were more significant changes there than in sp3.
