Objective Corporation (ASX:OXL) today announced plans to adapt the company's WebTalk process management software for use on mobile devices, such as the iPhone.

The adaptation will be branded WebTalk Mobile, and is based on Objective's proprietary web services-enabled Enterprise Content Bus.

WebTalk Mobile will be able to provide email notification of enterprise content in a bid to save customers money on mobile connection fees. The notification can be sent via SMS or a mobile-friendly email.

The service also promises content management solutions for user created content and the ability to render web-pages and other documents that are currently not viewable on mobile devices.

For example, the service will be able render AutoCAD pages in PDF format.
