MGM Wireless Limited (ASX:MWR) recently presented the results of a review of the company's messageyou Schools product to the South Australian Government.

messageyou Schools automatically sends SMS notifications to parents of students with unexplained absenses. The review examined schools in SA and the US which have adopted the system.

The in-house review shows that schools which have introduced the system have experienced a marked but varied reduction in truancy.

While one school experienced between a 63 percent to an 81 percent reduction in truancy across different age groups, another only reduced truancy by 20 percent.
