Cyber-Ark Software's Enterprise Password Vault. Pros: Rapid integration with directory services and applications; high and wide compatibility; unique approach to password management. Cons: More expensive than the competition. Quest Software's Privilege Manager for Unix 2.0. Pros: Tremendous privilege control that can be made transparent for users; designed for Unix professionals. Cons: Requires much site customizing; Unix/Linux centric. Symark International's PowerKeeper 2.0. Pros: Decent operating system and device compatibility. Cons: Integration with some applications lacking; more difficult to use than other products tested, documentation needs a heavy upgrade.
