Singapore Telecommunications Limited (ASX:SGT) has signed a deal with three major television studios to allow the company's mio TV service to screen over 50 US shows as little as 24 hours after their US premiere.
SingTel has reached arrangements with Disney-ABC, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. International to make over 50 of the networks' shows available in Singapore via the company's mio IPTV service.
Access will be by subscription. The Season Pass service will launch in September.
Shows on offer will include Grey's Anatomy, Lost, 24, Bones, Supernatural, Ugly Betty and Without a Trace.
