Telstra [ASX: TLS] has announced that the Australian cricket tour of India will be available live on Telstra Next G mobile phones.

BigPond customers will have exclusive access to the tests in Banagalore, Mohali, Dehli and Nagpur.

The test matches will begin at 3PM AEST, meaning watching the games on their mobiles may be the only option for many cricket fans stuck at work.

The tour begins on October 9 and continues until November 9.

Telstra 3G and Next G customers can subscribe to the tour package for $9.95 per month, or pay for one day's access for $3.95.
