Sydney, Australia – 1 October 2008: BlueCentral, Australia’s leading hosting and mobility solutions provider today announced it has been selected by behavioural targeting solutions company SageMetrics, to centralise its hosting solutions in the United Kingdom.
The SageMetrics contract will result in BlueCentral dramatically expanding its hosting data centre in the United Kingdom to support SageMetrics’ intensive data analytics operations.
Anthony Banek, Managing Director for BlueCentral said, “BlueCentral’s partnership with SageMetrics marks our continued expansion in the international market. We have supported more than 8,000 clients in their hosting requirements from around the world and we remain committed to growing our footprint to support our customer’s needs.”
Benoit Droulez, Chief Executive Officer of SageMetrics said, “Being a behavioural targeting and analytics solution provider means capturing and preserving data is our core business. We selected BlueCentral because of their demonstrated experience as a hosting provider. They have proven that they have what it takes to provide ongoing quality support to critical applications. ”
“BlueCentral has also demonstrated innovative thinking by designing a solution that moves us from a multi-location hosting environment to a centralised single location. This approach makes great business sense for SageMetrics because it optimises our hardware usage and reduces our operational costs.”
The new hosting facility will support behavioural targeting and web analytics functions for SageMetrics customers such as the BBC, BP, L’Oreal, Shell and Virgin.
