Listed company Open Telecommunications has boosted its management team with several appointments intended to provide control of planned rapid growth at home and abroad. "The company is undergoing significant growth both in its technology and in the international sales of its products. These senior management appointments are integral to ensuring that the company's growth is properly structured and effectively managed," explained Wayne Passlow, managing director of Open Telecommunications.
Tony Rogge has been appointed CFO and will take up the job in April. He was most recently CFO of AAPT -- where he worked with Open Telecommunications' chairman Graham Reaney -- although he has also held financial directorships with Silicon Graphics, Dupont and Sun Microsystems.
David Marshall has been moved from the CFO's office to become chief operating officer for the Asia/Pacific region, which Passlow said is now the company's "largest business contributor". His job will be to ensure that growth in the region is scalable and managed effectively, Passlow added.
Ian Chubb has been has been rescued from the aftermath of the Sydney Olympics to become executive vice president of human resources. He was previously general manager of the games workforce and main operations executive at SOCOG, where he was responsible for, among other things, human resources, workforce planning, volunteers and recruitment.
