"The non-blocking design ensures simultaneous full-wire speed is available via every port, without delays."

Muir said the network is now so fast that the disk storage at the back-end of the servers has become the bottleneck.

"Essentially, we cannot deliver the data quick enough to the desktop so we are now looking for a much faster storage solution," he said.
