TechnologyOne Ltd has won a contract to supply and install its financials and supply chain software solutions to the Rural Finance Corporation in Victoria. Headquartered in Bendigo Victoria, Rural Finance is wholly owned by the Victorian Government and is a specialist rural lender to primary producers and rural businesses. The organisation's general manager for IT, Joe Bonnici, said the aim is to improve operational efficiency by implementing a system with key features and functionality. He said these include, ease of use and navigation, a fast and robust reporting facility, transactional drill-down and a multi-dimensional view of account information. Earlier this month TechnologyOne also secured a contract to provide the Spinal Injuries Association (Queensland) with financials, HR and payroll software.

The Spinal Injuries Association is a not-for-profit organisation providing services and support for people living with spinal cord injuries in the state of Queensland and represents more than 1,500 members, with offices in Brisbane and Townsville and extensive networks throughout Queensland. As the association relies on grants it must meet strict reporting standards and its incumbent system failed quality assurance requirements for tracking funds.

Last month, the software provider was also awarded a $6.3 million contract to supply and install software systems across eight new Northern Territory local government shires over a five year period.

Also in March, 2008, it secured three contracts to provide Adelaide Airport Ltd, Marrickville City Council and The Barossa Council with performance planning solutions.
