The updated release (CaliberRM 2005 Release 2) is designed to increase communication, productivity and usability when managing requirements across the application lifecycle, with requirements management support for business and IT analysts, project managers, developers and testers.

New capabilities being introduced in this release include improved linking and traceability features to more extensively connect requirements with the rest of the application lifecycle - key to better manage the continuous changes that occur in the software delivery process. It also includes added secure sockets layer (SSL) support for enhanced security and new enterprise-class licensing options to help improve internal tracking, reporting and auditing across teams.
