Wayne Fitzsimmons, director of M-Group, recently commented: "The abrupt termination of the scheme caught many of us by surprise as there were no portents signalling any likelihood of such a change. There is no likely alternative in the short term at least. This will cause several of my early stage companies significant challenges and, for some, a likely cessation of trading."
