    Telstra has signed on its first wholesale customer of ULLS (unconditioned local loop service). Broadband service provider RequestDSL signed an agreement that will see it accessing the telco's copper customer access network. This is Telstra's first wholesale ULLS agreement since it announced the service on August 21. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission declared last year that Telstra be obliged by law to make its copper networks available to other service providers, if requested. A Telstra spokesperson said there were no other wholesale ULLS customers in the pipeline.
