FRAMINGHAM (10/12/2001) - Supply chain software vendors i2 Technologies Inc. and Yantra Corp. are preparing to roll out rival order management applications designed for users who need to automate complex order fulfillment processes involving multiple business units or suppliers.

And newcomers, such as Nistevo, offer specialized hosted services to outsource specific touch points in the chain, such as freight management.

This week's Internet World show here brought a slew of announcements from smaller and industry-specific companies expanding and partnering to gain more market share.

CRYPTOCard has integrated the latest version of its authentication software, CRYPTOAdmin 4.0, with InfoExpress Inc.'s VPN software in an effort to give end users a simpler-to-use, end-to-end security tool.
