I have the DjVu reader installed but I don't think it is operating properly.
There are a small number of known issues with the DjVu viewer. For more information on these please see the DjVu release notes at http://www.lizardtech.com/products/doc/djvupluginrelease.php.
I am running the Firefox Web browser on Linux, but the plugin didn't work after I installed it.
When you install the DjVu plugin it is likely to install to the Netscape plugin directory. For it to work in Firefox you must establish a link from the Firefox plugin directory to the appropriate plugin file. For example if Firefox is installed in /usr/local/lib/firefox-0.10.1/ and the DjVu plugin is installed in /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/ then with an account with the appropriate permissions:
$ cd /usr/local/lib/firefox-0.10.1/plugins
$ ln -s /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/nsdejavu.so nsdejavu.so
If you require further help please email ben_gerholt@idg.com.au .
