I know printers can be bought new fairly cheaply these days but before going down that road, how can I boost the performance of my current machine? Cheers!

If you have some reference documents to print it's quicker to format two document pages to a single page, saves time and speeds everything up!

Click Print, and then Properties. Your next step might vary with your specific printer. For mine I click the Layout/Watermark tab and picked 2 pages per sheet.

Also, reducing you print quality can somewhat boost the performance of a printer.

Good luck!
