Hi
A lot can be suggested, but I would advise not to fall for the lofty promises of search engine optimization. It only helps so much if your website and business are not up to the mark. Anyway . . .
The first important and obvious thing is to offer useful and high-quality content only. As they say, don’t add to the trash. Also, learn how web directories and reference sites work, and submit your website to them. Develop good PR habits and send out regular newsletters to as many people as possible – this ensures that your site is always fresh in their memory. Do not forget to imbed the facility of RSS feeds on your website, as they help people stay updated regularly.
You can also partner with other similar and important sites and ask them to link to your site. But do this sparingly – too much of it and your site might actually be blacklisted by the search engine!
To be honest, the list could on and on. I would say that you follow these suggestions religiously and develop your own.

Improving performance and availability was the key driver of consolidation efforts for 85% of those surveyed.
