Apple recently released the new Snow Leopard Server and my colleagues over at Network World have said its a nice upgrade but won't cause an "Internet storm". With Apple being a minor player in the server game, its unlikely this release will have much of an impact on the market. So is it worth evaluating Apple servers when you are going through a new server purchasing process?

Do you have Macs at your workplace? Do you need to centrally manage them? Then you would consider a Mac Server. I wouldn't entertain them until I had 10 or more macs to manage.

OSX Server can manage PC/Windows clients as well
