State Pioneers Web Address on Auto Plates

Pennsylvania has become the first state to post its Web site address on vehicle license plates. Pennsylvania is replacing its old moniker, Keystone State, with the address www.state.pa.us. The state began phasing out the old plates last year and hopes to complete the plate migration by 2002.
