ASI Links with Doctrieve

Australia's second largest IT hardware manufacturer ASI Solutions has formed an alliancewith doctrieve corporation, a provider of knowledge management anddata security software.doctrieve managing director Earl Woolley said the strategic partnership will generatein excess of $12 million in growth within a year giving the company a platform tomarket and sell its range of solutions to government and large corporates in Australia.
Woolley said the companies have negotiated a product and marketing agreement that will marrydoctrieve's software with ASI's hardware to provide total solutions to the market.
Both companies are Australian and the alliance will form the foundation for a globalexpansion which will begin in the Asia Pacific.
"In addition to driving market share in the Asia Pacific it will give us a more dominantdomestic presence and increase sales," Woolley said.
