Dazel Corporation

A Hewlett-Packard company, Dazel's High Performance Printing Solution (HPPS) is an integrated solution combining an HPPS Print Controller with a print farm of three Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printers. It provides high-speed printing plus the flexibility to run as a production printer or distributed network printer, removing the need to invest in a centralised, large capacity printer.

It works by firstly sending documents to print from any application to HPPS.

HPPS then splits print jobs across the HP LaserJet printers, boosting the output pages per minute. At the same time, it provides operators with the ability to control and manage the print job.

HPPS provides high throughput by using all of the HPPS printers simultaneously. For example, large reports can be split into an equal number of pages across each printer. It results in three 32ppm printers running print jobs with comparable performance to a single 96ppm printer.
