CSC wins $450 million ISS outsourcing deal

Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) has signed a 10-year, US$450 million outsourcing deal with ISS A/S, whereby CSC will provide its services to more than 800 ISS European sites.

CSC will provide mainframe, midrange, desktop, help desk, network, support and application development services to Denmark-based ISS, a maintenance and facility services group. Under the agreement, approximately 120 ISS employees will transfer to CSC in Europe beginning June 1.

CSC on Wednesday signed another 10-year IT outsourcing agreement with global telecommunications service provider Marconi. The deal valued at approximately $735 million, will see CSC providing services that include support and management of Marconi's IT help desk, desktop computing, networking and midrange operations.

On May 8, CSC also announced an $80 million deal in which it is providing its services to Denmark insurance company, Tryg.
