Unisys has appointed Andrew Barkla as managing director of Unisys Australia and New Zealand.
Barkla, who was previously vice president and general manager at PeopleSoft Asia-Pacific, takes over from Ron Frankenfield who has managed the two companies for the past three years in addition to his Asia-Pacific role. Frankenfield continues as VP and general manager of Unisys Asia-Pacific but will focus more on the region, particularly on China and Korea.
Before joining PeopleSoft Barkla was with System Software Associates (SSA) for eight years as director of operations Greater China, general manager Canada and managing director Australia New Zealand.
